Is there a contractual period, I mean can I cancel at anytime?
We're unlike other providers who require you remain with them for a set period. The short answer is that 'there is no penalty for cancelling at any time'. In fact, we often have overseas travellers who sign up for less than 2 weeks. The only thing we ask is that you do pay for the service one month in advance, after the free trial period.
What happens if I receive more pages than my plan allocates?
You have a couple of options, one of which allows you to upgrade or downgrade your current plan. You can do this by calling us, sending an email or through Live Chat. Alternatively, you can leave your service on the existing plan and simply pay for the excess pages at these rates. The excess usage charges are as follows:
- Lite Plan (up to 30 pages), excess is 25c per page.
- Regular Plan (up to 80 pages), excess is 20c per page.
- Premium Plan (up to 250 pages), excess is 15c per page.
- Other Plan, excess is 15c per page.
The excess page rates apply to fax pages that take no more than 60 seconds to receive, which covers approximately 95% of all fax pages. A fax page that takes longer than 60 seconds to receive will be billed on a per-minute basis
instead of per page.
I forgot to order SMS Alerts (or Email Encryption)?
No problems, once again just contact us at anytime and we can add these features on later to your Inbound Fax number service.
Actually, what does SMS Alert do?
From time to time we come across users who don't have regular access to their email because they travel a lot. The SMS Alert service will send a message to your mobile as soon as a fax arrives, which will give you the assurance of knowing immediately when to check for any faxes in your email.
What about Email Encryption?
Some fax documents deserve the privacy and confidentiality that encryption offers. What this means is that by subscribing to this feature, your emails from Ozefax will arrive with a WINZIP file attached (rather than a PDF file). In order to open the WINZIP file, you will need the software from www.winzip.com.
